Quince has built its entire reputation on skipping the traditional retail markup, which means shopping this brand well requires a slightly different approach than hunting for a sitewide percentage-off code. Learning how to save money at Quince starts with understanding something the brand states plainly on its own site: it doesn't run generic coupon codes, and it never has.
That's not a dead end for savvy shoppers, though. Quince offers several legitimate, stackable ways to save that go beyond a simple discount code, and this guide breaks down exactly what they are, how they work, and how to combine them. You can also check our own Quince deals page for the latest verified offers we've tracked, so you're not relying on expired third-party codes.
Why Quince Doesn't Run Traditional Sales
Quince's pricing model is built around cutting out the wholesale and retail markups that typically inflate prices three to five times over production cost. The brand sources materials directly from the same factories that supply established luxury labels, then ships straight to the customer without a physical retail footprint. Because pricing is already positioned as factory-direct, Quince has been explicit that shoppers won't find a working sitewide discount code anywhere, including on its own site.
This matters because a large number of third-party coupon listings advertising codes like "25% off everything" or "60% off sitewide" for Quince simply don't hold up when tested. Editorial deal-tracking teams that manually verify codes have repeatedly found no active, universal discount codes, even while confirming that real, meaningful savings exist elsewhere on the site.
Legitimate Ways to Save at Quince
1. Referral Program
This is one of the most reliable savings paths available. Referring a friend gets them $20 off their first purchase of $100 or more, and you receive $20 credit toward your own next order once their qualifying purchase is confirmed. It costs nothing to use and works well if you already have friends or family shopping the brand.
2. Bundle & Save
Quince's Bundle & Save program offers up to 25% off when you purchase complementary items together rather than individually. This tends to be most effective on bedding sets, where sheets, comforters, and pillows bundled together can meaningfully undercut buying each piece separately. The discount is built directly into the bundle price, so there's no code required.
3. Service and Community Discounts
Quince offers a 10% discount for military members, healthcare workers, teachers, and first responders, typically verified through ID.me. This applies to regularly priced items and is one of the more generous professional discount programs in direct-to-consumer retail, since it covers a broader range of professions than many competitors.
4. Email Newsletter Welcome Offer
New subscribers can often access a welcome discount on their first order, with some reporting offers around $40 off orders of $300 or more. Since this changes periodically, checking the current offer at sign-up is worth doing before you place a first order.
5. Quince Credit Partner Program
This program lets you earn Quince store credit by shopping through partner brand links, with credit typically appearing in your account within one to three days and remaining valid for up to a year. It functions similarly to a cashback program, letting you accumulate credit toward a future Quince order through purchases you were likely making anyway.
6. Clearance and Last Chance Sections
Quince's clearance and "Last Chance" areas feature discontinued styles and overstock inventory at meaningfully reduced prices, with some reported markdowns reaching well beyond standard bundle discounts. This is a smart section to check first if you're flexible on specific colors or styles.
7. Everyday Picks
The Everyday Picks section highlights a curated, rotating selection of seasonal apparel, travel essentials, and home goods that tend to represent some of the better values on the site at any given time, without requiring a special code to access.
Can You Stack Discounts at Quince?
Quince allows only one promo code per order, so if you do have a valid discount code, you can't combine it with a second one. However, the brand does allow certain offers to work together. Referral credits, bundle savings, and free shipping can often be combined with a single active code or applied on top of already-discounted bundle pricing. The most effective strategy is combining a referral credit or welcome offer with a bundle purchase, rather than searching for multiple stackable codes.
What About Third-Party Coupon Codes?
Be skeptical of coupon aggregator sites advertising large percentage-off codes for Quince. Given the brand's own stated policy against running blanket discount codes, any code claiming a broad sitewide discount is unlikely to be genuine. Where third-party codes do occasionally work, they tend to be narrow, one-time-use, or restricted to a small welcome discount rather than a universal markdown. If you want to verify a code before shopping, checking a recently updated, manually tested source is a safer bet than an aggregator page with no verification timestamp.
Understanding Quince's Return Policy
Because you can't try items on in person, Quince's return policy matters more than it would for an in-store purchase. The brand offers a 365-day return window, among the more generous policies in retail, provided items are returned unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and in original packaging. Bedding is a notable exception since it can be washed or used and still returned within the year. Some categories, including final sale items, customized products, wine, and furniture, carry exclusions worth reviewing before you buy.
Tips to Maximize Your Savings at Quince
Start with the referral program: if you know anyone who already shops the brand. It's free money on both sides.
Buy bedding and home goods as bundles: rather than piece by piece, since the built-in bundle discount tends to be the deepest available.
Verify your eligibility for the service discount: if you're military, a nurse, teacher, or first responder. That 10% off adds up quickly on cashmere or leather goods.
Sign up for the newsletter before your first order: to check for a current welcome discount.
Check clearance and Last Chance sections first: if you're flexible on specific styles or colors.
Don't expect to stack multiple codes: Focus on combining a single code with bundle pricing or referral credit instead.
Confirm free shipping is applied: Quince offers free standard shipping on all US orders, which meaningfully lowers total cost compared to brands that charge for delivery.
The Bottom Line
Learning how to save money at Quince means shifting your expectations away from a traditional coupon-code hunt and toward the brand's actual savings structure: referrals, bundles, service discounts, and clearance sections. Since Quince has been explicit that it doesn't run sitewide promo codes, the smartest approach is combining the legitimate offers above rather than chasing third-party codes that are unlikely to work at checkout.
